Le groupe britannique Latin Quarter s'est formé en 1983 et a sorti 6 albums. Voici une de leurs chansons politiques sur l'Afrique du Sud et qui fait allusion à une expression sud-africaine, "No rope as long as time", qui signifie "Aucune corde n'est aussi longue que le temps", ou autrement dit, le combat pour la liberté durera bien au-delà de toutes les pendaisons et assassinats commis par l'apartheid. Le groupe s'est reformé en 2011, après 21 ans de séparation et a sorti deux nouveaux albums.
